If you haven’t read Part One, I suggest you do that now. There’s some important disclaimers in there I just don’t feel like repeating — so check it out and come back here when you’re done. Kthx.

Old Boy Rod

A lot happened in this relationship, but most of it isn’t really important for this story. So I’ll give you the highlights.

We were unruly. All the things we shouldn’t have been doing, we did. At one point, I read through an over-commercialized Kama Sutra and picked up on some tips that put me miles ahead of my years.

Ah, but at what cost?

Good memories are mixed in there, and I’ve come to terms with the damage done; but at the time, there was a LOT of damage going on.

First off, we were nearly always around his friends. And being engaged gave me a unique taste of what early married life might look like every time we spent the day together. Because he was so much older, it was usually about what he wanted to do.

So at some point, I posed the idea of a relationship between me and one of his female friends — because why the hell not?

Long story short, while it started off relatively smooth it didn’t really go anywhere. In the end, she randomly moved away without warning or a forwarding address.

And then, like magic, it was spring.

Behind The Scenes

I didn’t learn this until later, but for continuity we’re going to reveal a little bit of behind the scenes info. During this time, our dear Erik was getting his game on with Robin. Not physically (much to his dismay at the time, but later relief), but not for lack of trying.

He tells the story so much better, having been there. So I won’t bother trying to do it justice.

He and Robin and one of her friends went to a movie theater together in a not so great part of town. I mean, she lived out there, so I guess it was average for her? Whatever the case, when they came out to the parking lot, their ride wasn’t there yet.

It had been the latest show, so the lot was empty. Until it wasn’t. A group of boys…
